The Apple iPad is still miles ahead of the competition with manufacturers including Samsung and Acer still struggling behind, new Nielsen figures have revealed.
The figures, according to InformationWeek, show the Apple iPad has an 82% market share in the United States, while others including the Motorola Xoom and Samsung Galaxy make up the other 18%.
“Despite the addition to the market of new tablet computers like the Samsung Galaxy and the Motorola Xoom in the United States, Apple’s iPad is still dominating the conversation – and market,” Nielsen said in a statement.
