Delta Airlines in the United States has upgraded its Facebook page with a new app that will allow users to check-in over the social networking site.
The Ticket Counter app will allow users to also check their SkyMiles and preview flight information, such as seating assignments.
The Facebook app will also allow users to print off boarding passes and share details about their itinerary with their circle of friends.
The move comes as a number of different airlines are innovating with the way users can check-in or print boarding passes. Closer to home, Qantas now allows users to check-in with their mobile apps and then use their phone to print a boarding pass at the gate.
