A new Australian website has been created that brings together social networking with a topic many people just can’t get enough of – property.
Springwise reports that the Love That Place provides the usual property listing service available on many other sites, but with a social twist. Property owners create a profile page and upload photos of their property, either because they want to sell or just to test the market.
Other site users – members can register either as property owners or admirers – can then leave comments or send private messages to the owner about what they think of the site in a very Facebook-like way. They can even lob in an offer for a property if they are so motivated.
The site, which says it has forums coming soon, is free to join for people who want to display up to three properties. More hardcore developer types can pay $249 per year to list up to 300 properties.
