Microsoft announces Australian pricing for Office 2010

With software giant Microsoft ready to release the newest version of its Office suite software, the company has finally announced a pricing structure for Australian users.

It comes as the company announced the package is ready for manufacturing, with retail users to see the software on shelves sometime in June.

The company announced yesterday the Office Home and Student 2010 package, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote, will cost $209. The Office Home and Business package, which includes the four programs in the student version along with Outlook, will cost $379.

Additionally, the Office Professional 2010 package will include all of the programs in the other two versions along with Publisher and Access.

The Office 2010 suite will also come with access to the company’s web apps software. The cloud-based software is designed as a supplement to the software package, allowing users to access and edit documents and data from any internet-enabled computer.
