Tech giant Apple is offering free setup service to US customers who purchase an iPad device at one of its retail stores, the company has announced.
The iPad will be released this Saturday in the US, while Australian users are set to wait until later this month to see the gadget hit our shores.
The free set service will include email configuration, application loading, while retail stores will offer workshop classes to help users become more acquainted with the tablet device.
“iPad connects users with their apps and content in a far more intimate and fun way than ever before,” chief executive Steve Jobs said in a statement. “We can’t wait for users to get their hands and fingers on its this weekend.”
