Private photos of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg have been spread across the internet after new privacy settings allowed “friends of friends” to view some of his files.
The photos, which show Zuckerberg at a party with friends, come after the site embarked on a campaign to show how the new privacy settings would allow users to control their data and who views private information.
About 300 photos were shared across the social networking site, with a number of blogs including Valleywag publishing them.
“Facebook’s own chief executive is illustrating that his privacy settings are so baffling that even he himself doesn’t grasp their full implications,” the blog stated.
The social network is reportedly fine-tuning some of the privacy settings after users complained they allowed data to be shared too easily.
