Pollenizer’s Phil Morle just released more than 70 pages of free startup building tools and resources

Pollenizer co-founder Phil Morle has released more than 70 pages of free startup building tools and resources, which were developed as “thinking tools” over the past decade for entrepreneurs and big companies.

One of Australia’s pioneering startup incubators, Pollenizer revealed in March that it would be shutting down operations this financial year.

But Morle says the resources Pollenizer developed during its nine years of operation shouldn’t go to waste.

“We think that these tools are useful and should not stop because Pollenizer itself is no longer active,” Morle writes in Startups + Venture Capital on Medium.

The free downloadable resources come from Pollenizer’s Startup Science Toolkit and include instructions on a range of core foundational steps for startups. Morle said the resources were used in all of Pollenizer’s workshops and internal planning sessions with its startups.

The Toolkit includes resources for how to develop a lean canvas business model; define a value proposition; identify and interview target customers; and create pitch decks.

The resources are available under open source licences and Morle is encouraging founders to download their own copies, which they can then edit how they like. He said the Pollenizer team also plans to create a website that anyone “can use to freely download, use and continue developing the tools”.
