Pizza Hut Australia has announced it will enter the iPhone App Store with a new app and 3G mobile phone ordering service over the next few months, following a successful app campaign in the US.
The company said in a statement that after the success of the US app, which recorded 150,000 downloads in a month, the company will introduce a similar program to Australian users.
“There’s an appetite for the Pizza Hut app here and we’re thrilled to be bringing this to Australian pizza lovers. Along with our clever new 3G mobile phone ordering service, it’s never been more fun and convenient to order and enjoy delicious Pizza Hut meals,” the company said in a statement.
The company says the app will be similar to the US version, which features a number of “fun” features such as a “virtual fridge” and a racing game.
