One of the better improvements in Android’s Jelly Bean update is an upgrade of the notifications system.
While you can still swipe the notification bar down from the top of the screen, there are a few updates.
You can now expand some notifications to give you a preview, and you can now dismiss any notifications by just swiping to the side of the screen.
