Further secure your encrypted Google data

The Google Chrome web browser contains a nice feature to encrypt the data held in all your open windows, including passwords and bookmarks.

You can even go one step further and add a passphrase protect to your encrypted data. To do so, head to the Settings page and then click on the “advanced sync settings” option. There, you can click on the “add a passphrase” function.

If you’re encrypting your data, you may as well add a passphrase – it’ll only help secure your data more.
