InXpress is a global freight consultancy franchise that sources and resells discounted freight services via multiple transport companies.
The companies do all the pick-ups and deliveries while InXpress takes care of the sales, customer service and accounting.
“I spent my entire career working for freight companies, and believed I could provide a better service and value for companies working for myself,” Fryer says.
InXpress originated in the United Kingdom. Its parent company, Express Worldwide, was founded in 1999 and now has more than 40 operating units.
The most challenging part of starting InXpress in Australia was finding the right system, says Fryer.
“I spent years researching the world for the best system to bring to Australia,” he says.
All of his hard work finally paid off, and the business has established a strong foothold in the market by catering for SMEs. “[InXpress is] providing SMEs with a great service and value for money for all their freight by grouping the volume of hundreds of companies and passing on the savings,” Fryer says. “This is done via an online automated system.”
