If you’ve upgraded to Apple’s iOS 6 operating system, then like millions of other users you’d be well aware of the new Apple Maps system.
It’s attracted its share of controversy for being of a lower quality than the Google version, but there’s also another complaint some users have brought up – it measures by default in miles, not kilometres.
That’s easy to change. Head to the Settings app, scroll down, and then click on Maps. There, you’ll be able to switch not only the voice volume, but the distance measurement tool as well.
