Whenever you download something via your browser, the computer you’re using will automatically store those files in a particular folder. Usually it’s called “downloads”.
But you may not want to keep these files there, and instead want to choose your own folder. Most browsers have an option to customise this.
To do so in Chrome, head to the Settings page, and then click on “advanced settings” at the bottom of the screen. Scroll down and you should see a subheading for downloads.
To change the download location, click the “Change” button, and then choose whichever folder you like.
Finish the prompts, and then leave the settings page. Your downloads should all go to the new folder.
