Australian publishing group Sound Alliance has launched an iPhone app titled inthemix, which has already gained sponsorship from Panadol Rapid.
The inthemix app scans the music stored on the user’s iPhone to discover their taste, providing personalised tour news, interviews and reviews based on their favourite music.
The location-based guide will recommend festivals, events, and clubs based on music preferences. The app also makes it easy to enter competitions for tickets, CDs and overseas trips.
“The inthemix app is unique as it serves up content based on the music on your iPhone,” Sound Alliance managing director Neil Ackland says.
“It’s a completely personalised music experience that puts Australia’s most comprehensive festival and club guide in the palm of your hand, just as the summer party season comes to life.”
Music-related apps appear to be taking the world by storm. Can you think of another way to tap into the market?
